New Stuff

February 2012:

"Occupy Elm Street" is underway. Here is a little promo shot:

"Occupy Elm Street" is a EP of cover songs, featuring myself on piano and vocals. 100% of any sales of "Occupy Elm Street" will be donated to RAINN, the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network. The release date is tentative, but should be out in late spring/early summer. And yes, there will be a party.

You can also donate directly to RAINN via my RAINNMaker Page.

You may be asking yourself: Why the sudden focus on RAINN?

Sexual assault has had an effect on my life and the lives of many people I love. It is a subject that is so horrific that many people cannot talk about it; however, it is imperative that they do. Talking leads to healing, and turns a victim into a survivor. So, essentially, I am here to talk. Hopefully I can encourage others to do the same.

Check back here for further updates, including press I will be doing for RAINN's Speaker's Bureau, as well as any updates about "Occupy Elm Street".

2012 is gonna be a big year.

October 2011:

"Solitude Standing"

Years ago me and my friend Micaela took to bringing a Suzanne Vega song to light. A vision came to me one night when I sick. The song "Solitude Standing" gave me an idea. So, with some household items and some incense, Micaela put my vision into reality.

Lomography.com, (i.e. the people who reminded me I was still valid as a student of analogue film) was kind enough to pick a shot from the session for the Athens, Greece Time Machine Display.

Alright. More photos soon. And maybe something else. One of my photos, "Lady Liberty" won 2nd place in national photo contest for Tori Amos's 'Get Inspired' Contest for her new "Night of Hunters" album.

The rules were to submit photos that represent the cities Tori will be visiting during her tour.
Try and guess which city mine is represents...

If you're bored and have nothing better to do, you can read my blog "The Adventures of Tori Diana and Me".

Also, Check out Lomography.com to see the other winners. They're some damn fine photos there!
